Sven Wiberg, I Parents and Ancestors*

*My parents (Hugo and Mary Wiberg) visited Torvald and Elsa in 1968. Mom writes in her journal:

June 4, 1968: Asa [Ander's girlfriend at the time] continued driving us [after a visit to Aunt Betty, Grandpa's sister] to two small churches - first to one where Dad's Grandfather [Sven Hansson] had been confirmed. There were many Anderssons buried in that church yard - and Bengstsons - some of which surely were relatives.

Then to another where Grandpa Sven's Grandmother was buried. [This must have been Hanna Bengtsdotter because Grandpa would have been two years old when Anna Nilsdotter died] was buried. We were told the story of Grandpa Sven's visit [he would have been 39 at the time] to the grave site - shortly after she had been buried there and about his being chided for coming there in red (his guernsey) when it should have been black. Knowing him, I'm sure he continued on his purpose - regardless!
